So I've got some 67cc S/R Torquer heads..
..and I've got a couple questions.
The heads are set up for a flat tappet cam and I've got a carbed 89 L98 with the stock roller cam. What do I need to make them work? New lifters?
And as far as bolting them on with the stock cam, how much power would be gained?
I'm not against installing a new cam but I'd like to know what it'd do without one.

You either need to drill out the pushrod holes, or get non-self-aligning rockers.
With a stock L98 cam, the World springs aren't going to have any problems.
(BTW, you can't run flat lifters on a roller cam.)

Ok so new rockers and lifters and it's a swap.
What will this do for me in the power department with the stock cam?

I have no idea. Still learning. I see now that I don't.
I was referring to what valve train changes had to be made. Heads are on an early 80's 350.

Ok, but there are no valvetrain changes needed on the heads.

Ok, thanks, I've got it all figured out now and I already have the rockers I need.
I just realized though these are not the actual Torquers. They are simply the S/R heads.

There are the specs.
Now I'm just wondering if they're any better than stock L98 heads. I would think so but I really don't know. I just need to know what kind of gains the swap would be worth before I actually get into making the swap.
Thanks for anyone who helps.
