if its not the car runnning ruff its another thing, first off swapping gauges, orginal set worked great with lights off as sooon as you turn lighs on the half the gauges wouldnt work, so i got new set 145mph one, an hook it up all lights seem to work an light switch doesnt affect it this time but tach,oil preasure,volts,gas,an temp arent working now, an the damn door buzzer will not go off no matter what with car running an lights on??? anyone had this happen an got a fix for it?? thanks

 

sounds to me like u got soming crossed or not grounded right, has it blown the fuse?

 

no its not blowing fuses, the other gauges worked pefect unless u turned lights on, an now new gauge cluster only thing that works in the little lights thats it

Okay first of all, when you switched from the stock gauges to the 145 cluster, did your stock ones have the large gas gauge where the tach is on the 145?

as far as them not working when you turn the lights on. what you need to do to fix that is pull the cluster out, clean up the contacts on both of those plugs and use some wd-40 on a paper towel to clean the contacts on the back of the cluster.
Also, when putting it back together. Make sure its firmly in there

Also check the bulbs in your warning lights. I know that when my seatbelt light goes out, that it will yell at me until i put my belt on, not just for a few seconds and shut off

 

no it had reg gauges like only thing diff was myother speedo went to 85, an new one goes to 145, i did try clean my contacts up on both them, i found that my blinker thing is broken off i can see to wires maybe cruise wires? im asuming there are two wires they hook too in the collom, maybe thoes are crossed over. idk,...

Ive already pulled my hair out. I just want to put my car back together and get it running...I should have paid someone to do the work because now I dont know how to wire it back...no need for bashing I know it was ignorant. God I fail. Very upset with myself about this. Sorry for rambling...had to vent for a moment.
