No, it runs from your Cruise control diaphragm along the framerail, through the firewall, and hooks up to a switch mounted on your brake pedal.

That is cruise control
No vac lines connect to booster.
One should go to intake vac , the other should go through the firewall to switch on brake pedal

yes. ive removed the cruise control tv cable to the TB, ive ran a hose directly from the vacuum tank under the battery to the T connector area near the distributor and i've temporarily caulked the tube this thread was about shut. obviously the cruise control mechanism has been unplugged and unbolted from the fender/body and removed.

If you have no vac from intake going to cruise unit then you don't need to plug / disconnect anything else
