oil leak cant find it

oil leak cant find it

I have. a 383 just got running it only seems to leal oil when u Drive it, it run down the back of the block on both sides ive sealed the oil sending unit mĂșltiple times and still leaks , can it leal anywhere else?

I doubt it because it s wet Where the intake and the block meet on the back of the block all I can think is the oil sending unit But ive re sealed it like 3 times

clean it off. and check whether or not the intake rubber seal is leaking .its the one at the back of the block

No,,,the back and front of the intake is just for the lifter galley...no vacuum.

So when you put it together, did you use the cork or rubber seals?

Many years ago I learned to toss them and just run a 3/16th bead of sealant instead.

Works good, last a long time
