LT1 crank pulley on gen 1 sbc

Can I use this LT1 underdrive pulley on a gen 1 sbc with 88-92 f-body accessory drive?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pulley-Cran...ycmBSsfo2#rwid

In searching it sounds like one hole is offset 5° on the LT1 from a gen 1, but that's all I saw in searching...

Would it work if I elongated one hole?

Thanks.

no,LT1 crank damper/pulley will not work-belt grooves are way too far back at the very least...Nobody makes underdrive pulley for 88-92 anymore?

Thanks for confirming that for me. Yeah I see ASP 540800, which is just the crank pulley. $104 is a hard pill to swallow, even if it's made in America. I have a 253 amp AD244 alternator, so I'm not concerned with trying to speed it back up. Everything else I see has the alternator pulley I don't want to pay for.

I just found this aluminum set for like $63:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SB-CAMARO-3...0AAOSw4jJdg~eZ

I just measured though, and the crank pulley is very close in size to factory so scratch this one too...

Don't use the large alt pulleys on the street. It won't charge well.
In fact, use a smaller than factory GM pulley, I got a few from fox mustangs that are smaller.

I'm not using the stock cs130 105a alternator. 253 amp ad244.

My 200a AD244 charged my Express van well even at idle with a 25% underdrive crank pulley. Front and rear a/c, headlights and wipers on along with all the interior lighting. Gauge did not even waver when the 40 amps of Tahoe cooling fans came on high speed. Was not until I hooked the travel trailer to it that I needed a smaller alternator pulley to keep up at idle. Hooking up the trailer added alot of lights, usually two partially drained 250ah 6V golf cart batteries (in series) and trailer brakes on both axles.

Re: LT1 crank pulley on gen 1 sbc

This doesn't make any sense, and this didn't show up in my search of Summit the first time... But Auto Specialties 540801 costs $101.99 and includes the alternator pulley with the crank pulley. 540800 is only the crank pulley and costs $103.99. I don't understand it, but I think it's clear which one to buy.

March, and others have various pulleys. and can "piece together" an underdrive pulley set for you.

I think I still have a March underdrive crank pulley left in my parts bin if you are interested.
It is for a L98
