What size bolts are these?

PO removed when swapping the cap and wires but never installed cover back on because he lost the bolts. Anyone have any idea what size they are?

Probably metric. Probably dealer item.

Definitely metric. The whole plenum is metric. Guessing an M3. I can't currently double check for you.

I saw that post. I also saw on a different post that the f body and corvette bolts were different so I wanted to make sure. Especially since they don't sell the "funky washer style" at the hardware shop and gm charges $15 a bolt. People like you need to realize that People posting questions is what keeps this forum alive. If you don't want to help. DON'T REPLY 🙄

Re: What size bolts are these?

Well it looks like it a special bolt and bolt supply places will not have it unless you want it to look different than the rest. It's either going to be a junkyard find or pay the price and buy them from the dealer. There's also ebay etc but it may be a while before someone even lists them.

And people like you need to realize that newbies to any website really shouldn't go chastising the site's longtime members for being somewhat blunt in their response , getting yourself labeled a whiner in your first month of membership is a great way to get all of the regulars to ignore you .

Scooter is one of the site's consistently helpful members and if you think HE can be gruff , you just wail till Sofakingdom answers one of your questions , best be wearin the ol "Big Boy Pants" that day

Re: What size bolts are these?

It's just a beauty cover, wouldn't bother spending ridiculous money on GM bolts. Your local Ace hardware likely had a good enough bolt & washer selection to get the job done. Link below said M4-0.7 x 10mm. Start there and see what happens. Adjust as necessary.

Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: What size bolts are these?

Lowe's has the best stainless hardware selection that I've found in the "home improvement" chains.

Apart from that, I TOTALLY agree with Qwk: go get some nice stainless screws with the right thread, and some nice matching stainless washers; and put the damn thing together and DRIVE IT.

Re: What size bolts are these?

If they are the same as the plate on the throttle body as mentioned in a link above they are M4, not sure on length, 10mm should do it.
