Car runs well for about 20 minutes, then starts acting up
Hey guys, first time posting here and I've gone through hell with this car so I figured I'd give the forums a shot. I have a 1990 TA 350 tpi, I have installed new fuel pump, fuel filter, cap and rotor, plugs and wires, cut off cats and straight piped, new ignition coil, icm, iac, battery, tps and connector, and new injectors. I'm still having a problem where I can drive the car for 15-25 minutes just fine, but eventually when I press the gas it's almost like I can feel the car trying to go but it barely does, then i have to basically limp it home. When it starts to act like that I have to leave my foot on the gas at stops or it stalls, and if I turn it off it won't start again unless my foot is on the gas and it won't stay on unless my foot is on the gas. Ive pulled a few different codes over the past couple months like 45, 46, 33, 34, and 22(cant remember all off the top of my head but ive gotten rich code from o2 along with this vats code the past week). Could this be a bad egr or egr solenoid? Thanks in advance

No not anymore but sometimes the same codes come back, like this 45 vats code just came back after about a month and the rich o2 has been happening for about 2 weeks, but no matter what the code is, it still has these same symptoms every time. I cut the cats off because I thought that was what was choking the engine but they were completely empty.
but no i havent gotten the map code for a while now

fuel pressure remains good during the loss of power ?

I think either way my next step is installing new egr and solenoid along with fpr if i cant find anything else. Was also thinking maybe I just have a vacuum leak somewhere, maybe the solenoid or the egr itself

Yes if fpr is leaking that will cause a rich condition. But won’t solve the low tps readings.
