oh man, that sucks, steering columns are like some of the worst things in the world when it comes to rebuilding them. I've done two of them (both just to tighten the three screws that keep them from wobbling). Its a PITA to not mix things up. Unfortunatly though I don't have any diagrams for you, but if you tell me where your stuck I may be able to help.

Look what I found...

I thought I left this stuff at home, but it looks like I did bring it with.

I didn't know whether or not you had a tilt column or not, so I'm giving you breakdowns of both. I'm Once you get the number tell me and I'll give you the name and part number. I can help you with the horn button and stuff too, but I need more info about your car, including whether or not you've got airbags, controls on the wheel, transmission, etc.

standard column is first...

Hope this helps you find the parts....

Mike

wow!!

well the horn part is #6 on the diagram. and i dont think i need the two metal clips because they are still on, but the plastic covering the bottom is what broke. i just need to know what they do so i can replace them if i need too. they look like part # 14 or #15. and one quick question. if i were to get a new steering wheel, like grant or somthing, do they come with a horn kit. thanks a lot.

ok, the part# for 6 is 26029509.

As for the other parts, I don't really know too much about them, here's what my parts manual says:

If you have a
#14 is the ignition key warning switch 26022717
#15 is the is the clip that retains the ingnition alarm switch. 7830376

As for the horn, I don't think that they come with the grant steering kit, you may be able to get one, but not that I know of. A lot of people will wire a button up to the back of the steering wheel, I've never done it though...

If you got anymore questions man, just holla,
Lata,
Mike
