3rd gen vs. sentra se-r
I got a friend who has a new se-r sentra, it seems to be pretty quick. i keep telling him that i am going to race him, but havent got a chance yet. what do you guys think will happen?
the ser is fast the . my buddy usted to have one. in the 1/8 it ran a 10.6 i converted him to a third gen that should run mid 8's...haha now his 90 maro tbi 305 ran 10.1 stock.. so the camaro should be faster. the top end of the ser is 134mph i know this for sure

if its a spec-v it will be running low 15's,high 14's if he can drive his *** off.if its a non spec-v then its high 15's,mid 15's at the very best.i know i cant wait to race one.a stock one atleast.
nissan ser v-spec 1/4 15.6 this months car and driver either that or road and track but thats what it does in the review they trashed that car pretty good hell they ranked an svt focus better than it
I agree with the last post. That's a 16 second car. I drove one, and it's a PITA to drive hard. The shifter feels sluggish, the clutch engages way to quick, and it gets 0 traction, even with the posi diff. The only thing I can say about it was that it handled well, was quiet, fun to drive, no torque steer, and you can't beat it for the money at 20,000 fully loaded.
The Mazda 6 gets my vote for best "sports" car in the $20,000 range. The 200 HP V6 had good midranged torque, the suspension was tight, while the car still rode comfortably. Much better than the GTS Eclipse.

A friend of mine has a Spec V Sentra Se R. It's nimble and quick for what it is. The thing is a low 16's high 15's.
I'd take it on in my 305TPI Trans-AM any day of the week.

for low 20's i'd have to take the srt4 ugly yes but ever magazine thats tested has managed a 14.1 or better and i hear it is quite nimble as well since it smokes anything in its class except the evo8 and sti both over 30 you gotta take the srt4 but i'll take an fbody over it anyday
