How fast are Integras?

My friend has a 1998 acura integra, it seems to be the base model, cause it has no spoilers, badging or mags. Its just an inline 4 with a 5 speed. How fast are these crs in the 1/4 mile because I intend on racing him for money.

What do you have? if its the base engine think 17s or more, if it is the GS-R motor i think they are good for low to mid 16s. Someone tell me if I am wrong, its been known to happen.

this guy at the track a few weeks ago had one of those cars (late model integra), and with a cold air pipe (with K&N), and a fart tip muffler went 15.7. this was with the 5speed. dont know which motor it had, though

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
Dunno what year, or what motor it had (he was sporting the GS-R badges), but last year I ran against the same guy 5 times in a row...he was running between 15.4 and 15.7. He saw me taillights every time
The second run is in the timeslip in my sig; change the last digit between 1 and 5 to see all my runs against him.

I have 82 Z with 350, edelbrock performer intake and 750 carb, Th350 tranny with stage 2 shift kit and 2500 stall, And for the time being 2.73s and the stock exauhst. The heads are from a 302 camaro and the cam specs are unknown. I bought the car totaled off and the motor hasnt given me enough trouble to rip into it yet.
before I had the stock converter and I raced 305 camaros and v6 mustangs And killed all of them so I think Ill win this race.

Im 99% sure that the car you discribe is no doubt an Integra GS, LS, or RS coupe, the ones that came with the base engine with 5 speed,
For 1998 here's the stats

GS or LS coupe = 2650lbs, 140hp 125ft/lbs,
expect low 16 1/4mi

RS coupe = slightly over 2500lbs, 140hp 125ft/lbs
expect high 15 1/4mi

GSR = just under 2700lbs, 1.8 4cyl, 170hp 128ft/lbs
expect mid 15 1/4 mi

Type R = just under 2600lbs, 195hp 135ft/lbs
expect high 14 1/4mi

call me crazy, but to me that just looks plain funny with a torque rating that much lower than hp

I have driven the GSR on the track. I had a 1997 GSR before I bought my Eclipse. I had an Injen intake and Greddy exhaust. I got a 14.8. You could expect a stock GSR to do mid 15s, low 15s if it's a great driver.

my sister has a 2001 integera GS-R. let me tell you guys, that thing is pretty dam fast. that would probably beat my car. the only thing i have over her besides the good old fashion america muscle is the i can shift quiter than she can. but yeah i would say the car would run high 15s - low 16s. all it has is one of those intake pipes.
