I would have to say a Corvette, there can't be a car that outperforms it can there, that's made by GM. That's just my guess though.

Around a 1/2 mile oval? Well lets see, he can pull more G's than u can and he can out accelerate you. So I think Vette all the way.

even though my Z is a 305, you can DEFINATELY feel a difference in the 2 cars after driving them back to back. no other fbody ive ever driven is as solid feeling as my C4. those cars were just built to handle. the Vette is the winner

Are they racing at the same time, or separate? If separatly definatly the 'vette

I saw a race at a local circle track, it's a 2 in one, a 1/4 mile small oval inside a 0.4 mile oval, sharing the front straight. Anyway, just before the A-main race they had the spectator drags. Anyway the relevent race was a C4 'vette vs a early / mid-90's C/K 1500 truck. The truck managed to get to the first corner just in front of the 'vette (wheelspin ), no matter how much the vett tried, he couldn't get around the truck, just not enough room. It was quite funny to watch though!! Maybe a 1/2 mile would have allowed enough space for him to get around, he almost had the truck going into 3 and 4, but the truck had the inside line.
