I need them too, and now Spohn makes them for 3rd gen convertibles as well. If anyone was thinking of getting spohn SFC's maybe Fastoys would give us a deal on them. The only other companies that I know of that make them for the droptops are Kenny Brown and Allston.

I could use a set as well. I could also use a strut tower brace and a wonderbar...

Well, Bam and myself have decided to go get ourselves some SFC's since no one wants to try and get a group purchase going. We did talk with a fabricator that says he can make them for less easy, all he needs is dimentions. If anyone is interested.

if you guys want SFCs made I know a shop that will actually make them and weld them on for you at the same time. Very reasonable price too.

It's times like these however I must say I'm happy I got my MAC tubular SFCs from ROCHEAD for $100. Mahahaha :hail:

If you have a hardtop car, don't expect too much of a difference from sfc's... still tehough they will ease the stress on our doors as those are load bearing and vital to structural integrity of our cars.

I am too ....but I fear this will not happen . I have never done this before .....as I am weary of buying anything offline , also I don't have the capitol to back everyone up untill they pay ......so I can't organize it.

Capital is not needed, the way the GP's that I've been involved with is like this, one person organizes it, then once the prices have been established everyone sends payment to the vendor, once everyone's payment is recieved the order is processed.

I got my custom made through a friend of mine....welded......they rock.
I also did a pan hard rod at the same time. It really does make a difference.
The car feels really solid.

A bunch of us in TDZ needed some SFC's so we chip'd in and ordered a set so he can get the steal grade and the layout/dimentions. He say's he can go the same grade of steal, a higher grade or even stainless steal depending on what we want to pay for. I can get them powder coated at work in a veriaty of colours for a little extra.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Cream, Grey, Black, Green

I didnt want to post to much untill I actualy got prices to give ya's. I will post as soon as we get that figured out.

I am planing on getting 10 sets made to start, already got 4 sold for sure. As long as they work out cheaper of course.

I guess they might be cheaper with your dollar exchange, but tbh wouldnt it be easier to grab a set from down there?

We got the cost of the SFC's and the shipping costs and the duty when we order from the states. Thats y I was hoping to set something up here. Spohn has a very reputable set of SFC's, if the price was right I am sure alot of peeps would grab them up.

yea its the one thing i hate about canada/usa. stupid duty taxes. I dont think I should come up in canada anymore anyways. I think i have a warrant for my arrest. he he. unpaid parking ticks in toronto. bastard nailed me a half hour before I wasnt supposed to be parked there, and pretty much wrote the ticket up wrong, so it said i was there an HOUR after what i really was! I was SOOO heated from that I just ripped that damn thing up! I figured if I ever was questioned, id be like, I never had a parking ticket officer! anyways, let me know whats up anyways, ive been wanting to buy some for a long time.

Under NAFTA, there's no duty on anything made in North America sold to anyone in north america. Taxes are another matter.

Auto parts especially are covered under nafta (another reason to like having a domestic over an import)...

It will be awile untill I can get anything settled, just to busy in my personaly life to get right into this. So feel free to get a group purchase going for the spohn's. Were things sit, I dont know if it will be cheaper or not anyways.
