Looking forward to seeing it when you get it back into town.If your back Today(saturday) you should bring it out to Merivale and Meadowlands...I'm sure a few people would like to see the new toy.And since the season is almost over it's always nice to get as much crusing time in as possible.
Congrads on the new purchase.

Update For Everybody
I was misled and took a ten hour drive for basically - a parts car - it drives, but it was not what the guy made it out to be. Straight as an arrow, but definitely did not take care of it. Wheel wells were rusting out, floor was about to rust through...
I bought it for less than half of what we had discussed. The engine was very clean and all of the parts that I wrecked on mine can be taken from this one.
I'm not sure what I'm doing now. I've got mine sitting in the garage right beside the new one, and even with mine all torn apart, it still looks nicer.
I'm trying to pick up another one in the next couple of days.
I was too excited about the new car and should have waited to post. Although I didn't expect to be flat out lied to by the seller either.
Again, I'll let you guys know what I am doing. I have new pics of the teardown that I'll post a little later once they are uploaded. I was almost in tears while doing it...

Had that experience buying the Camaro for my wife. Some guys just flat out lie, don't know what they think you'll do when you get there. We just left! Bought another one somewhere else the same day tho!

Had that BS happen to me twice too when I was looking for an Fbody. It's ridiculous how some guys think a MINT car or no rust car can have holes?!?!

I've encountered enough of these so called "mint" rust buckets this year. Some people.....
Congrats on the new ride. I've been busy skinning knuckles on the newest member to my driveway. Everything is almost done.

Jacking my own thread
We all come across these idiots in our pursuit of happiness.
Happiness being Beautiful Camaros.
Half Inch... What is the new ride? Do you get fleet coverage with your insurance co?
All 3rd gens but one? So which is the favorite?

The new ride is a 91 GTA 350 auto hardtop. It is in decent shape but I will likely paint it next spring to make it near perfect. Been busy with it since I got it. New struts and shocks, tires, rear axle seals, trans filter, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, brake hoses, brake pads, o2 sensor, coolant flush, thermo, tb cleaning, IAC adjustment, fuel filter, timing and been oil spraying areas once I know I won't have to go back for a while. Need to give the outside a good detailing, clay bar and a few coats of zaino and it will be almost ready to put away for the winter.
My favortite is the 98. Just built much better than the 3rd gens plus it is basically still brand new. Also the very last SS made for the first year of the LS1 Camaro's. Just hit 18,000kms today. I have a set of heads I want to port and throw on it along with a cam. Right now it makes 321.5 RWHP and 337.5 RWTQ.
My next favorite is the 91 followed by the 87 followed by the 85. The only reason for that order is the higher ranking cars are in better condition. I'm more of a Camaro person than Firebird. The only reason the birds are here is due them being the g/f's favorites.
