TPI good for a 383?

I am hoping to build a 383 stroker with a T56 6-speed, and I am trying to get info from all angles. I already asked the carb guys, and they said the best was a 4-bbl. But I was wondering, could you make a TPI setup flow enough for a healthy 383? This will, hopefully, be street driven quite offenly, so not too outragious. I'm not sure yet, but I'd like to get into atleast the 12s, if not 11s. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

people have been telling me that you can fun a TPI with a 383.
I guess you just need to change the injectors and tweak the PROM.

You shouldn't really stick with the stock TPI. At least upgrade your manifold and runners. TPI was designed for torque which the 383 will have more of anyways.

Thanks. So, say I could get a used TPI setup for cheap, would it be practical to do those things ya'll mentioned? Or would I be better off just going with a Carb? So, eventually, I'd like to trick my car out. And make it have a remote starter and such. Could this be possible with anything but TPI? Thanks,

Hey thanks, so if I do all that to the TPI, providing I get it cheap, would it be more fuel efficient than a 4 bb carb? What exactly is involved in making the TPI produce good power with the 383? And, would if be cheaper than just a good 4bbl, and manifold? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just tryin' to get as much info as possible. Thanks,
