Stripped bolt...
Ok I was going to remove the TPI to acess the damage to my engine but I couldn't get one screw off. I think the head is stripped now so I am stuck. How can I remove the stripped bolt? It's one of the bolts that attach the runners to the plenum.

well it only works if you can get a chisel in there (and a hammer of course). If its hiding behind a runner or something then it won't work. Usually you can chisel one side of the bolt and it'll spin.
good luck!

I had this problem with a valve cover bolt when I was installing my plug wire looms. I tried everything, vise grips clamped so tight I could barely pull them shut, bolt breaker, drilling it, etc. I ended up getting it out by taking the Dremel and a fiberglass cutting wheel, and cutting two sides into the circular head so that there were flat areas on it. Then I got one of those "gator grip" sockets from Home Depot, dropped it on there, and it popped right out. The socket is like $20, but it comes with a 3/8 wrench (which is junk), a socket adapter, and the socket itself. Good luck!
Wow, a gator grip success story. Neat. I thought that thing looked neat, but was a total gimmick. Oh well. I actually had a similar problem and ended up grinding the side of it and grabbing it with channel locks.

Lol...rezinn, that's what I thought too, but at that point I was ready to try anything. And to my surprise, the thing actually worked really well in that case.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to try what rezinn said first since I already have the tools for that and if that doesn't work I will try what Black88GTA said. So rezinn you just ground up the sides of the bolt to make it rough?

Just get a dremel with a cut-off wheel and drill a slot on the bolt. Then just use a flat-head bit with an impact driver and it should pop out. Hell an impact driver is probably overkill...you could probably get away with a flathead screwdriver.

Well I tried to take the bolt out today since it finally stopped raining. There is a couple problems, where the bolt is located it is hard to get the dremel in and channel locks don't fit at all. I tried using a flathead by grinding a cross section and a torque wrench with a flathead socket but it kept slipping. This bolt is in there tight!!
I tried to chisel it out but the chisel just slid everytime I hit it. Any other ideas you guys can think of? This bolt is on the left side (facing the engine) TPI runner bolt.
