HSR installed today,,, few ???'s
Well my HSR is 99% installed and I have a few questions. First, what is the fitting size of the FP regulator? I have a -6AN hose end that needs to go on it. Second, has anyones TB hit the drivers side fuel rail? Mine does and it looks like i have to do some grinding to the black piece that holds the linkage. also how is the fuel pressure checked if the regulato doesnt have a vaccumm source on it. Third, my inner bolts dont go in at the right angle. whos sells those angle spacers? Will they leak if I just tighten them up?
Other then that, the install went pretty good. I hope I never ever have to take a TPI off again. what a PITA.

help is here!!!
the tb will have to be modified unfortunantly....
as for the fuel lines i have a cool trick for ya..
order ya some aeroquip hose out of jegs or summit.. you'll need the 6an size.....
take the hose to your local john deere or hydraulics place and get them to put female -6 jic fittings on both ends ater you have measured and cut them to length...
now take your factory rubber hoses where the go on the metal lines from the tank and cut off the ends that went to the tpi...
put -6 male jic fittings on them..
now ya have a nice looking fuel line that will hold 1000psi!!!!

ok as far as fuel lines go, I have already made my own lines using -6AN hose ends. the lines are not the problem. I wanted to know the thread size of the regulator. The directions just say "different thread". I have the correct fitting now to . All I need is an answer on what to do or get by with on the inner intake bolts.
oh and for all you guys that constantly bitch about guys not using the search... if you dont have an answer related to the post then dont bother posting. sometimes the search doesnt help with minor questons people have. Yes I know the HSR install has been beat to death on here but people are still gonna have those small questions that havent been asked before. again, dont bother posting if all your gonna say is use the search. end of this discussion. lets get back the real topic here now.

Also the vacuum hose for the regulator goes over the adjustment screw.
The "different threads" are referring to the threads (mm) that screw into the regulator. The hose end part of that fitting is a standard -6. As previously stated the vacuum line connects to the nipple of the regulator, and has to be removed to adjust the regulator.
Sorry about the spacers. I thought the intakes had been machined so that spacers would not be needed. Not until after both articles were finalized did I find that there was not enough material for Holley to machine the bolt area flat. All they did was slot the bolt-holes.
This was cut from a post by E-man. “You do need spacers for the 4 center bolts they don’t sit flush with the intake. They are called square beveled washers http://www.mcmaster.com/ sells them also holley has a PN#90748 for them.”
The Holley part number is outrageous. The link has a number of square beveled washers to choose from – even stainless steel. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to use the stock bolts or not, you will probably need slightly longer ones.
