Plenum Question ?????
I have a question. I got a plenum but the guy who had it before me ported the mouth. so much in fact that they compromised the trianglular port that is just below the two holes for the throttle body. Is this Junk ?? Can it be used on a speed/density set up. Mass air? I will try to get a pic to post-Mike

Shouldn't matter. That's just the IAC port, and all it does is dump into the plenum anyway, so it really shouldn't make much of a difference. At least I think that's the port you're talking about......

I am currently researching porting such a plenum for my car. There is an article on this website, which discusses how this should be done. The article indicates that the "post" between the two plenum bore holes should not be removed because it would create air turbulence. It looks like this post has been removed from the plenum in your photgraph. Try using this bored out plenum and report your findings on this message board.

Well, Iwasn't going to use it myself. I am probably going to sell it. I just want to know if compromising the IAC port will cause any negative effects. I am pretty sure it wount but i want to make sure.-Mike

So, this can be used with no problems what-so-ever? It wount effect the quality of the idle? Please let me know because I'm putting this up for sale soon. ANYBODY feel free to chime in here.....
