your setup looks like it would probably make about that much hp. can i ask you why you have such small tube headers on it though. 1 5/8 seems pretty restrictive, especially for a 350. you are probably robbing yourself of some hp there.

yea i plan on switching those out soon. Alot of the work done to the car was already done when i bought it (the headers were already on there), but it had a spun rod bearing. Plus the previous owner did alot of stuff half assed..for instance he converted it to a single cat car with the hedman headers and y pipe...etc etc

I wanna get some long tubes soon

that cam is very big for stock TPI... thats gonna hold u back alot and gonna need a good tune to run right

but power numbers look right.

fully upgrade TPI with good heads on that setup will do over 300rwhp

Not only stock TPI, but stock heads.
Your not gonna get nearly what you want with those chocking your engine.
Also the car is going to run horribly (if at all) with a stock chip. My car still has drivability issues with the same cam and I have 10 burns and counting.

I wouldn't "swap out" those headers so fast. 1 5/8 is a great size for your tpi motor. Going to a larger primary tube is just going to "knock the wind" or kill the bottom end torque in your tpi motor. A 1 3/4 or larger primary for a small block is really only needed in something making, say 450+hp and buzzing way past your 5500(max!) tpi's power band. I've owned 10 second small blocks and never run anything larger than 1 5/8 primaries. Your headers are more than capable of handling everything your "oem" heads can ever throw at them. A tpi motor is all about torque. So are those headers. Look at the whole picture of your combination. You could probably use that money better elseware.
Just an educated exhaust guys $0.02.

With better heads, modified TPI but a much smaller cam I'm running 304RWHP. The ZZ9 cam is 212 degrees on the intake. See signature.

yea the car pretty much does run horribly, but like i said the car had all this work done already, when i rebuilt the engine though, the machine shop guy said the cam was ok for the car. I mean it doesnt run horribly, ive just been having some minor problems lately, mostly vaccum leaks and ****, but when i get that all sorted out, ill tell you how it runs

Since the stock heads are ported, I would use them for now. That intake has got to go! Consider a S/R, or M/R. Plain and simple, the engine will fall on its face with that intake. What is the LSA of your cam? That cam has a bit of duration, but you can get it tuned, if you want to invest the time in tuning. I agree with Rob, as the headers are fine. The "pop up" pistons are another thing that should have been done differently. What is the C/R?
