What can i do to my car to hit the 13's?

I would like to hit the 13's when i goto the track. I will have headers soon, but what else to ensure my spot in the 13's? As far as traction i have alot of that. Very little tire spin. Any idea of what i'd run as is now?
Just trying to think of ideas.

a good stall converter, 3.42's or 3.73's your choice, everyone has their opinions on whats better, and if you so choose a really easy way to get there and possibly faster with the combination of these things would be a nice shot of nitrous. up to 150 is possible with a 350 safely

You cant put 10-bolt 3.42's or 3.73's in a 2.77 9-bolt rear end.

You've done the ported plenum and free mods, I'd say your next step is a higher stall converter, drag radials, and the headers. You didnt say what times you're running now. Dont forget a helmet too.

I don't exactly know what times i run now, but it don't seem like 13 seconds. Oh well, after the paint job comes my new stall. If i do such a thing, how high of a stall should i get? I have all that transgo stuff and my tranny is built to handle 8000 rpms or (well i forgot how much HP) so it's built good...just skimped myself on the stall. Headers are a must for me i suppose...if i can find some cheap but fairly good headers...

No such thing as cheap yet good headers. Bite the bullet and get SLP 1 3/4".

For a stall converter I'd recommend a 2400-2800 RPM.
