Walbro 255ltr/hr pump ?Do I need an AFPR?

I'm putting a 91Z 305 TPI engine in my RS,if I use a walbro 255 fuel pump will i need to use an AFPR.I plan on putting one on later but for now I just need to get the engine in the car and get it running, also is the pump a direct replacement for the RS pump or will i need any additional items.thanks......jt

You can use the stock regulator. And the pump is a direct replacement. Why use the 255, when the 190 should do you fine? Unless you have a power adder going on, too.

what kind of power is the 190 good to? The 305 is just temperary..I have the parts car and figured this would be the easiest way to get my RS set up with TPI.Now when I do get a another engine I don't want to have to change the fuel pump again, the engine i'm planning on is in the 400-430hp range. If the 190 will feed it then by all means I'll go with it.Is it cheaper? If not i might as well go with the 255 just in case.....thanks

Hey Jeremy

I just bought a walbro 255 from APE Ron has the best prices that ive found on them. It was only 97.65 shipped,He sent it to me PM i got it within a couple days.

http://AutoPerformanceEngineering.com

From what I understand the 190 is a good stock replacement.

That's why I asked if you were going with something different later. Might as well put the 255 in there if you've got it apart. APE is the way to go. I bought one from Ron a couple of weeks ago. Great guy to talk to. Mine was $114, next day delivery.

The high pressure one FPG003 would be good if you plan to run over 50psi of fuel pressure or a supercharger. I dont plan on doing either so I bought the FPG002.

Btw... did you get a chance to work on getting the wheel off.
