Check out the webpage in my sig. The motor is just about ready to go in the car, so no power or time numbers yet. Hoping for about 400-425 HP at the crank and some mid 12 sec. slips once it's tuned, I get a new tranny and some drag radials.

right now im a stock LB9(305TPI w/ 130k miles) w/ nothing but the following:
K&N conical open element air filter
screenless MAF sensor
TPIS airfoil
semi-ported/polished plenum
MSD cap/rotor/8.5mm's
TB coolant bypass
170* thermo
w/ a WC T5,Centerforce dual-friction clutch,
aluminum driveshaft,and a posi/drum 3.08 rear
I'm runnin a best of 14.89@92mph but good for maybe a 14.40 on street tires, maybe 14.20 on slicks....
heres my general plans for what i have now:
337 stroker kit(i like to be different)
TPIS mini-ram intake
Hooker long tube headers
possible TE-60
possible TK0
Ford 9" or Strange 12-bolt w/ undecided gearing....
as I said, these are genral plans, and I will most likely change some stuff between now and the time I do it,but thats what Im liking right now...
I wanta turbo cuz I love the sound,I want to keep my 305 cuz I lvoe it and like I said I just like to be different, and I like 5-speeds over 6-speeds for some reason,again..different...

You can see the engine mods and pictures on my site. I am in the middle of a few changes, so the site needs updating, but you can get an idea.. With the combo listed on currently, I have run the best of 108.78 mph in the quarter mile (still has more in it), and it gets around 28-29 mpg! 8^)

1997 GMC Yukon, 4 wheel drive, leather, loaded, Gibson exhaust, K&N intake, Boston pro series speakers..... That's it so far.
1969 Camaro,12 point cage, total project right now, I am planning an LS1 - T56 - and a Vette independent rear. Pro Touring crowd, look out! 8^)

Not mine, but co-worker who keeps feeding me parts he decides not to use or got something else. Started as a '90 305 TBI RS:
ZZ3-based crate engine, decked for near-zero clearance (forget the number), heads CNC ported, shaved, thin TPIS head gaskets - about 11.5:1 static compression. Big Mouth Vette base, TPIS runners, ported plenum; Plenum, runners, base & heads all extrude honed together. ZZ9 cam, 1.6:1 roller rockers. ZZ3 exhaust manifolds extrude honed, EGR tube from exhaust to intake, factory 2-1/4" y-pipe & dual cats, 3" SLP cat-back.
Converted to SD ('91-style), custom chip (forget who burned it for him). Home-made AFPR, 19# injectors (had 24#, afraid it wouldn't pass emissions and found out it was faster with the 19's anyway).
2000 stall converter (all that was available for TH700 when he did all this), too-expensive race-prepped TH700, B&M Hammer Console shifter. 4.10 w/Eaton posi, Drag (?) Comp T/A radials. Bolt-in subframe connectors.
Runs 14.5's @ 97 MPH at 5800' Bandimere - converts to 13.4's @ 105 at sea level. Passed dyno-type emissions test with "Fast Pass" due to low emissions levels.
Power? Probably close to 400, he says/thinks.
------------------
82 Berlinetta, orig V-6 car, now w/86 LG4/TH700R4. 2.93 limited slip. 2-1/2" cat-back, ZZ3 intake, Accel HEI SuperCoil. AMSOIL syn lubes bumper-to-bumper. Daily driver, work-in-progress (LG4 w/'87 LB9 block, ZZ3 cam, ported World 305 heads, Hooker 2055 headers, 3" Catco cat & 3" cat-back, Spohn SFCs).
57 Bel Air, my 1st car. '66 396, 9.7 CR forged TRWs, Weiand Action+, Holley 750VS w/4150 conversion, GK 270 cam, Magnum rockers, Jacobs Omnipack, 1-3/4" Hedders & 3" Warlocks, TH400 w/TCI Sat Night Special conv & Trans-Scat shift kit, MegaShifter, 3.08 8.2" 10-bolt w/Powertrax, AMSOIL syn lubes bumper-to-bumper. Idles smooth @ 600 RPM in D. Best 15.02/95.06 @ 5800' Bandimere (corrected 13.93/102.4 @ sea level).

Still haven't run a 1/4 mile cant seem to find any straight roads in NY that are long enough to use the g-tec. But the car runs great and is a lot faster than when I first started modding it. HP#???? maybe some of you can help me figure that out

I am currently poor at the moment, but I did get my 97+ Trans Am center console today.
My 86 LG4 T/A ran a 14.9 @ 91.6 mph with carb and intake.
As of today, the car now has an LG4 bottom end with an LB9 top end.
Here is what I have done so far;
Holley external fuel pump,
52mm Throttle Body,
Dynomax Headers,
Pacesetter 3" Stainless steel catback with 97 Trans Am WS6 Tips,
Really big K&N cone air filter (didn't realize how large it was when I ordered it.)
Cold Air Intake,
Smog Delete,
A/C Delete,
Dual Radiators.
That is all I can afford right now, almost ready to fire up the motor and see if it runs.

My L98 is very close to stock. Best ET is 13.94@96.67 and it recently dyno'd 217.4 rwhp and 319.5 rwtq. It has 3.27 gears.
Power mods are:
Airfoil
160º thermostat
Hypertech Thermomaster chip
SLP 2OTL muffler/tailpipes (stock to muffler inlet)
LS1 aluminum driveshaft
Ported plenum
TCI 12" torque converter (1800 rpm foot stall)
AFPR at stock psi (hey, it works)
Traction mods are:
Nitto 555R drag radials
TByrne tubular LCA's poly/poly
Granatelli tubular panhard poly/poly
1LE transmission mount

when my project is over it will have. SLP runners with an Edelbrock baseplate and a seriously ported plenum. A bigger TB. comp cams XE-268-4 cam and Edelbrock RPM heads.
------------------
I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT
1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.
future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames,
T-56 almost ready to go in, TPI swap coming up
Wifes new car:
95Z28, AT, leather, T-tops bone stock for now.
future mods:
header to tailpipe replacement and a cold air intake. Then I am just going to leave it alone
