Tpi ram air plenum?

Im looking into a tpi upgrade, really like the tpi but want it to breathe some more. Its not a crazy build so i couldnt justify buying the holley stealth ram, but i found a plenum on ebay that looks fairly good for my use, considering it says you dont need aftermarket fuel rail, probobly not harness either?

Heres the link to the part, i would like to know if anyone has used these or if the gains are worth the money, if any?

Re: Tpi ram air plenum?

I sure did. I havnt had to mess with emissions in quite some time, I already have no egr on my stock intake, or smog pump, with addition to longtubes. Although if the time comes I still have all the parts to pass emissions. I just want a better intake for my ik180s.

Re: Tpi ram air plenum?

I realize the cheaper version is not going to be as good as the more expensive hsr, but if they share the same structures would it be an improvement onto the stock tpi?

In the product description is says
Aftermarket fuel rail required: No

It's a Chinese HSR. There is a thread on here discussing them, might want to look for it. I wouldn't trust the "no aftermarket fuel rail required" part. I would treat it as an HSR if I were you, which does require aftermarket fuel rails. Who knows, maybe there is a Chinese knock off of those too.

Don't believe everything you read online
A known fact TPI rails won't fit a HSR ; only have to look at the stock TPI FPR to see there is no room for it on a HSR

I figured it would, although the seller claimed to not need an aftermarket fuel rail. I wasnt very successful with my searches to find the knockoff, thanks for the help!

Re: Tpi ram air plenum?

Even though the thieves in China say it uses stock rails, because they copied the strath ram it's obvious that the stock tpi rails won't fit.
