L98 350 Sensor Locations

I have an L98 350 and I'm wondering what sensor is the one located next to the coolant temp sensor because I had a problem with my primary fan running all the time and when I disconnected the wire to this unknown sensor it shut off. I have a manual that says its the coolant temp switch but I cant find any other info on it

I believe the coolant temp switch is what enables the cold start injector circuit.

Again, that's the cold start injector switch. The coolant temperature sender is on the right.

IIRC, the way to keep them straight is the cold start injector switch has the same connector as the eight (nine) other injectors.

HTH (I just figured out what this stands for).

Because with the connector unplugged, the ECM thinks the engine coolant is cold.
