Holley Stealth Ram Thermostat Cover
Holley Stealth Ram Thermostat Cover
Hello, does anyone have a suggestion on T stat cover on a Holley Stealth Ram? It's an 88 Iroc with serpentine belt and its seems the bolt hole angle on HSR screws with angle of hose. TPI neck wrong angle, Aftermarket adjustable with 15 degree (rcp 6015) neck to tall and hits underside of throttle body, on top of the fact upper radiator hose diameter is to small.....any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Does one from a carb or tbi thirdgen work ?
Re: Holley Stealth Ram Thermostat Cover
Hmm enlightening!! I forgot they did make a tbi motor in that year. I'll check but am betting the bolt pattern is parallel to front of block and for some reason Holley chose to offset them.

Just a guess that it might work.

I used Mr gasket part number 2661 and it worked fine it was a little wider than the hose but it worked well everything's good.

Yeah I had to cut part of the hood out because the hood was hitting the throttle body. The HSR not fitting might have been a combination of things such as my chosen engine mounts. However the hood wasn't cut much here is a pic. Still need to clean things up all over. So many little things...
It runs okay, not fully tuned yet. Sounds good though.
I need to swap the 42# injectors for 36# injectors tomorrow and retune it all over again.
Good luck with your swap! If you have any questions I may be able to answer, feel free to PM me.
