ID'ing injectors.......anyone have a website?

Have this set of injectors I just took out of my TPI motor.........put new 24lb Accel units in and want to know what I 'had'.............anyone know of a website that I can use the numbers cast into these to compare/identify what brand they are and confirm the lb/hr rating?

Numbers at the top area - one side is 5235047
other side is 0 28 015 0222

Other miscellaneous numbers - 542 cast into the injector plug housing. 086 cast into the body up at the top They are all black in color.

There's also a 'mysterious' logo that even with a magnifier can't quite tell what it is............looks like a 'H' or 'A' in a cryptic styled logo. They look very much like my new Accel's in 'type' or 'style'.

Pic below.

Thanks.

Well, that makes them 19lbs'ers. Seem kinda small for a 406. Looks like they have a NAPA injector cap and O-ring kit on them too.

The numbers 5235047 are OE Mfg P/N for 1985 AC 305 19# injectors. GM P/N is 17110872. See if this helps.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought..............might also explain why my BLM numbers were in the 155-160 range, huh. Got a call in to the engine builder to see what he says...........I got a feeling he just put the incorrect set in by mistake. If you could see his shop you could understand how that could happen........plus he's like a mad scientist type guy...........

Speaking of mad scientist experiment....how did the car run with those? Technically, a combo of smaller injectors and a huge boost in fuel pressure to keep up with the engines demands would atomize fuel better and probably give you better performace. 19lbs seems really really undersized though. But who knows? Maybe he knew what he was doing. Do you have an AFPR?

Well, he told me and wrote on my 'bill' that I was supposed to get 24 lb injectors...........he is a great guy and his motors are killer (have ridden in two of his projects, including a 434ci small block in a Jag coupe that scared the whee out of me) so I just think he screwed up. I am not happy about it but life goes on........no harm no foul. I do have an AFPR that I installed a month ago............running it at 47lbs right now............gonna see how the Accels do at that rating and bump it up from there a little bit. VERY interested to see how the BLM counts are.............

Funny thing is the truck (this is a TPI motor in a 5600 lb K5 Blazer) ran awesome.............pulled strong, etc.

Sounds like you were getting good atomization. If you don't like those Accells, don't be afraid to go smaller. I think they'll work out for you though especially at WOT, when it just a matter of dumping all the air and fuel you can in the heads, these will keep up better. Good luck, sounds like one mean Blazer. I bet you catch alot of people off guard in that thing.

Well the best things happen for funny reasons...............my BLM and Integrator counts now are both in the 128 range at all throttle positions............and it runs incredibly well. Better than it ever has...........obviously I guess. What is rewarding is figuring this stuff out myself and doing all the work on it myself.

As far as catching people off guard.............yep. I am 40 so street racing isn't my thing with a K5 but believe me, the ricers always get the leave the line hard treatment. Especially the ones with the coffee can exhausts..................
