What kind of pilot bushing or bearing did you use?

They practically never come with a clutch set. Usually you get a clutch, a disc, and a release bearing (also called throwout bearing). It would be a little bronze thing about 1¼" or less in diameter with a ¾" hole in it, or a little roller bearing of that size. It would go in the end of the crank.

Which one did you use?

yup it is the pilot bearing that goes in crank.
your problem might be :
1 pilot bearing
2 bleed the clutch
3 input shaft housing damaged
or you did not install the clutch in the right way

well i just bled the hydraulic clutch system and still , i cant get into gear....but i doubt that i installed the clutch assembly wrong.
the clutch assembly came with everything....with a bearing that goes in to the fork and that little one that goes in the end of the crank. oh even that plastic thing you need for alignment.........
i did have troubles getting that tranny in...if that little bearing you guys are talking wasnt in place.. will that be the problem....but if it wasnt in place, theres no way that tranny would be in.

does it go into gear with the engine stopped? if not you have other problems. is the shifter engaging the rail mechanism? maybe you put the shifter in with the little ball in the wrong place???

I was thinkin about it it might be when you installed the tranny you did not put it right in other word that input shaft pushed the pilot bearing in while you were forcing the tranny in.
