whats wrong with my tranny??
I got a little problem over here..when i drive my car it changes gears just fine(normal driving) but when i floor it all gears change between 5k and 55k rpm but 4th gear will not engage..it went up to 6k rpm and it was still on 3th gear...is a 700r4 tranny..any ideas what could be wrong?? Thanks

Axle/Gears: 4.10
in stock form a 700r4 will not go into or stay in overdrive at full throttle, i believe all you get is approximately 1/3 throttle, or a little more before it either kicks down or just doesn't upshift. its a gm factory way of keeping speed freaks from killing themselves as often

is there any way to change that? Of course,beside replacing tranny
