about tranny cooler

i was running my tranny lines strait to the aftermarket cooler, and i whould often check the rubber hose thats connected to get a feel of how hot it will get, well a few buddies and i was reading on here that running thru both , the radiator and coller will cool it better,

so i changed it to that way and drove it home from work, its about 92 here in orlando running 220 and got home checked the rubber hoses and they where way hotter than b4 it felt just as hot as the radiator , so is this better ? because it was way hotter

unless you're using a temp gun i think "how it feels" is pretty meaningless and you'd have to consider air temp and operating temp of the engine. all in all i'd use both coolers. trans to radiator then to extra cooler and back to trans.

because they "feel" you have no idea what you really have. check it with your temp gun and you'll know

just about any parts store or industrial supplier will sell temp guns, or you could install a gauge

well drove home today from work about 92 today , the lines are still hott with the aftermarket cooler with an aftermarket fan for the cooler, and car still runs 220 dont know why???, but now the ac feels colder with this new fan, but i am thinking of jus running it to the aftermarket cooler for the summer because its too hot here, then when its get cooler put it back to the rad ??
