pro 5.0 help needed ASAP
Okay well I got my pro 5.0, got the console off, took the stock shifter out and installed the new one no problem. Now that is in the shifter is like stuck. Its like I can push into 3rd gear and pull it back a little but not far enough to get it into neutral, it just has a half inch of play but I can't shift. I need to get this fixed because its holding up getting the rest of my interior in. Any help is appreciated.

Actually I had the adjustable stops pushed all the way up without noticing, felt pretty dumb for that one

I don't think there was a plastic cup either, the instruction make no mention of a plastic cup so I don't know, I'll see how it shifts once my car is running again.

This is part of a rebuild kit from D&D:
I think the cup you guy are talking about is in top left corner. The shifter end that goes into a tranny has a ball on the end. That ball goes into this isolator cup which is pressed into the lever on the shift rail.
