yeah you can put a th350 in your car, should bolt right up to the block, but unless you're dragracing why not just put a rebuilt 700r4 on?

No, you'll need to change a few things...I been down that road. I just ended up buying a high performance 700R4 for 1,200. If I would have bought the t350, It was going to be over 1,400 with the tranny and all the mods that would have had to be done.

You would need a different driveshaft (You would need to get your re-length)
You're cross member will need some work
you'll need to buy the conversion kit...I think It was like $132 at summitracing

Not to mention U-joints and having to get your driveshaft balanced...Dude, just buy another 700r4...there expensive, but they give you the extra gear, and somewhat better gas mileage.

Just call your local shops, and tell them you want a rebuilt 700r4 with a shift kit and a high stall speed lockup converter. if you want to spend money one your credit card...Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts | 800-230-3030
