Im am in the process of rebuilding my 700r4. it is an automatic. does anyone know if i can buy a hurst dual/gate 2 from nextgen would it fit right in, and if so what would it do? Would it be like an automatic and a manual put together in one?

The dual gate also has stops in the race gate to prevent overshifting when you're upshifting manually.

 

Don't buy from nextgen try summit or jegs a lot cheap from them.

Yes, the Dual/Gate 2 only works with 4 speed automatics like yours.

 

so does anyboyd have this in their car? i was looking at this thing too cause it looks sweet. my main question would be does it fit in the console of an '88 Formula (since the note in the catalogue says it's only for Camaros)?
