I just got done reading about 100+ archive posts and none could answer this question...

I have an 88 IROC with the 9-bolt BW 2.77 with positraction. I have burned out the posi and am having trouble finding a replacement posi unit.

Anyone know where I can get a posi unit for this thing?

I would like to see multiple sources, if possible, so that I can compare some prices... If it's "out of range", I guess I will be driving a one-legged monster for a while.

well if you just want to get the posi working u can try this

I sell brand new series 3 posi carriers for 445, but not a series 2. I could throw in a used 3.27 gear set for probably another 75.

I guess I have more thinking to do. While I am hugely interested in both the posi unit and the 3.27, I think I have to bide my time and get Christmas for the family (and the associated credit card bills) behind me.
