well that depends on what you consider to be hard. i guess you're replacing a 700r4? you will likely need a different driveshaft, speedo gear, dipstick tube, and place to mount the torque arm.

Whats your definition of hard? I had one in my car but just took it out for my T56 swap.. I started from scratch though. I bought a Hughes TH350, Spohn torque arm/crossmember, Lockar firewall mounted dipstick, Lockar kickdown cable, and Spohn driveshaft. You'll need a convertor too. If you buy everything like I did, you just bolt everything in.
If you use a longtail TH350, I believe you can use a stock driveshaft. If you use the shorttail like I did you will need a new one. You will also need a different crossmember than the stock one. If you currently have a mechanical speedometer then you'll be ok on that.

if you get a long tail TH 350.. all you will need is the B&M torque arm adapter.. same crossmember & same Poly trans mount..
and the spedo gear will be easy to find to match your gear ratio

I got a 355 I am gonna throw in my 305 tbi RS, with a turbo 350. Or what would I need to run the 700r4 with a carbed motor?

as long as you have the long tail th350, the stock drive shaft will work without modification. when i had done my swap, i lucked out and grabbed my motor and trans from a 78 C10. Not sure if anything had been swapped on it before as i was nowhere near the original owner.
as for the gearing, you should be able to buy those from a GM dealer or summit/jegs. you just need to know what you're going to have for rear end gears and tire size to get the right ones.
