front main
i went to get my car inspected and they told me to replace the front main on the transmission what exactly is a front main and how do you replace it? thank you

No such thing as a front main on a transmission. If you go to a parts store and ask for that, they'll give you a really strange look.
You need a transmission input seal and you need to pull the transmission to replace it.

Yep. Doesnt really matter. As long as your not dealing with some retarded auto parts dweeb they will usually know what your talking about. Front seal on a transmission. Real hard to figure out! Yeah it sucks but its one of them things you gotta fix!
