Nevermind answer is in your signature. Not sure if it will work for you, but it may. I was always told the 4l60e was a 700r4 controlled by computer. Not sure though.

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

I put that kit in my 700 and loved it and I have since installed it in every gm auto ive owned 2005 1500 truck loved it made it drive 1000 time better my 2008 Vmax 1500 made a huge difference really woke the truck up

and I will not do a LSX swap auto without installing this kit Its worth every cent

In my 1500 i had 80 k and towed a 15500 trailer from FL to NM and only issue i had was blowouts I checked the tranny fluid when I got there and it still looked great and I was getting blowouts from going to fast lol (mind you my truck was rated for 8500lbs)

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

I used the 700-2-3 which is the same kit without the servo and boost valve.(I had already done the servo) It's pretty easy to do. You will need a tiny torque wrench. Also the drill bits that come in the kit will break. I like the kit overall. First to second shift is a little firm at part throttle but not as bad as the crappy B&M kit. It did fix the 2-3 no shift problem I was having at WOT.

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

I have the kit mentioned in the original post. Except that mine is the street/strip version rather than the heavy duty version. I would recommend the street/strip version.....The heavy duty version is more for towing, small pickup trucks. The street/strip version is more for Camaros, Corvettes, etc.

You will love it. Pro Built Automatics make the best Trans-Go kits out there.

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

The servo fill firm up 1-2 shift. What is your tranny shifting like now?

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/prod...&cat=65&page=1 is this it?

1-2 takes forever to shift, won't shift and go into overdrive at WOT, i can get it up to 5300 rpms tho, I got it up to 5500 once. I only have a 6000 rpm tach haha, so I really want it to shift into OD at WOT

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

If I take off from a stop and floor it, it'll spin forever in 1st, grab traction, then take forever to shift into 2nd. But if I manually shift it, it does great 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd shifts, But can't get it to go into 3rd-4th at WOT. I need a manual transmission, but that cost way to much money to change over so I'm stuck with an automatic

Re: Trans Go Shift Kit

You can install a Corvette servo for around $25.00 and you will be amazed at what a difference it will make.(If your transmission is in good working order) I don't trust mechanics and I did not want to mess with a perfectly good trans. at that level.

I installed the servo and that's it. Off the line both tires will spin for a second then hook. It “barks” the tires going from 1st to 2nd and “chirps” them going from 2nd to third. Thats both tires. I decided with shifts like that I don't need a shift kit. Here's how to change the servo.=
