You have a 7.5" (or 7 5/8, doesnt matter, basically the same thing) 10 bolt rear end. You will want to look for gears ONLY for that rear end because they are the only ones that will fit. If you have 3.08 gears or lower gears then you have a 2 series carrier and will need to purchase 3.73s for a 2 series carrier. IF you have 3.23 gears or higher then you have to purchase 3.73s for a 3 series carrier.

Those 8.5", and 8.8" are simply other rears ends for different cars. The 8.8" rear went on mustang GTs, and the 8.5" rear i believe is a GM 12 bolt rear.

I hope this helps. If you go to Summitracing.com or Jegs.com, and look under Richmond gears. Find the 2 3.73s for a GM 7.5" 10 bolt, one will be 2 series, one will be 3 series.

You are bidding on a ring and pinion gear set. These are OEM GM 10 bolt 8.5" 3.73 gears. Sorry no picture. (camera broke) but, these things are in excellent condition. They came out of the front differential of an early 90s K5 Blazer (They will fit front or rear though, dont worry) Being they came out of the front, They have virually no wear at all. Itll be almost like putting a brand new set in your ride. Trust me.. Excellent condition!! Buyer pays shipping and insurance rate of $20 anywhere in US...(ill use the fastest service that $20 will get) I will accept money order or cashiers check.. Feel free to email any questions. Good Luck!

No

Right in the title of that auction it says they are for an 8.5" differential. As was said earlier, you have a 7.5" diff. Soooo, they wont fit.

As was also said earlier, you need to get a gear set for a 7.5" 10 bolt, for either a 2 series or 3 series carrier, depending on what carrier you have in your car. This has been covered many many times in this forum. Try searching.

Also, You do realize that these gears should be installed by a professional because it requires know how and special tools, right?
