Gauge needles bounce when turn signal is on
Gauge needles bounce when turn signal is on
When I turn on the turn-signal, all the gauge needles start bouncing (up and down, up and down). When I turn off the turn-signal, the needles return to their previous positions.

I wonder about the condition of your battery (is it nearing the 5-year "death" mark?) and alternator (check voltage of battery with car off, should be 12 volts, remove the meter, start the motor, check voltage with engine running, should be 13.8ish volts).

chaffing: as in new corderoys, the inside of legs rubbed raw
wiring: lots of wires

I had similiar problems last tuesday night after graduation. I turn my lights on and theres only one light on around my speedo and all gauges jump around when I signial, so I drive it to the store a block away and take my gauge cluster out and look at my connecters that go into the cluster and they were fine. Then I looked at the back of my cluster and saw some of the circuit ends"or whatever they are called" were touching each other and straightned them out and the prob was fixed.I hope that helped sorta.

HS, and the 15th I will finish up my first semester of collage. When did your school start
cause 5 weeks is alot compared to the schools around here.
cause 5 weeks is alot compared to the schools around here. well I got a higher output amp and my needle stays pretty steady. 160 AMP alt for $189?.. I think. GREAT BUY. I highly recomend it. Even if stock, I would serioulsy go to 140 AMP. You WILL notice the difference in charging and your lights being brighter.

September
I started 15th of august. I have a 150 amp alt in my car. My gas guage is the only needle that will bounce, the funny thing is I believe the problem lies in the guage its self. The reason why is when I use to have the starwars gauge cluser with the tach size gas guage the needle stayed steady no matter what. But with the smaller one every time I hit a medium bump the needle bounces, so I'd say its gotta be the gauge.
