not to shabby on the engine pix...dohave a Q for ya though. if it's an 85 S/E, then why do you have the third brake light? 3rd brake lights didn't come out till 1986, cause i know i don't have one on my 85 :-d....are ur firebird S/E tags a decal? if so, it might be an 86 model, and therefore the last year for the S/E.

There is no third brake light i pulled those louvers out of the junkyard from a belinetta that had a third brake light so i covered it up to put them on. and yes the "s/e"'s are decals but it is an 85 cause thats when they started using the decals instead of the s/e emblem on the sail panel. I put the vin in the vin decoder and it came out as an 85 too.

I am always amazed to see a factory airbox. That is usuallyl the first thing that people ditch. I had louvers on my car, but they faded and don't look as good. I was thinking of puttting them back on my bird, but the have to be refinished and painted again.

Noooo, don't put those louvers back on, leave them in trash where they belong.

Transmission: 700r4, vette servo, shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
The factory air box sucks on the 2.8s. I ripped mine out the first day i got the car. replaced it with this. (this oic is old, the accels are gone now, so is the coil and the rest of the ac crap.)
