Put in the Magnum 1.52 roller s yesterday...

Definatly a project. My engine had to much oil and it was just spurting EVERYWHERE lol. The real project was disassembling the egr stuff and getting access to the valve covers. Got every thing in though. Put on the fiero valve covers and those bad boys look sweet. Did i feel a difference with the new rockers? Yes, especially in 2nd gear. It wasn't until today when i really felt the difference but my car really pulls. I accelerate from 35-65 a heck of a lot faster. I was impressed. I should save up again and buy a cam to go along with those roller rockers .

Cool, thanks for the info! That's part # 1413-12, right? Did you get the kit with the pushrods, too (put an "RP" in front, RP1413-12), or are you waiting for a cam for those?

I've had 1.52's in for quite some time, they definately are worth it. I put this motor in about three years ago (new crate 2.8) and put about 8,000 miles on it before I put in the 1.52's, I now have about 32,000 on it. I basically broke it in first then added them and definately noticed a big improvement at that time. The 3.4 I'm building will have Gold Aluminum 1.6's

Edit: I was doing a tile job for a police impound yard here in Hawthrone, Calif. The manager there offered me a 305 TPI w/ trans and full harness (68,000 miles) for $350 out of a wrecked Camaro- I passed on it- I'm diehard to build a fully modified and rare V6 Camaro- you just don't see them modified because of the unavailibility of parts until now.

p.s. I did take the TPI intake and harness though for $100- I'll find some use for it
