any 3.4 swappers
there is a sensor on the pass side of the block. im not sure what it is, but its in the way of the 2.8 motor mount. what is it and when i take it out do i have to plug the hole? it doesnt look like it would leak any fluids, but ive been wrong.

It's a ka-nock sensor. Just unscrew & remove, you wont need it. MIght want to save it for later swaps
, or sell it & make a little $$ for your swap.
edit: and no, no fluid or anything will leak out, or at least shouldn't
It's sealed in the back.

The cam sensor is up top, just in front of the driver's side bae manifold.
The crank sensor is behind the balancer. I just cit the wires & left the sensors there as plugs.

I know the cam is up top.
My 94 had TWO crank sensors. One on the timing chain cover, and then another one on the pass side of the block just above the oil pan.

I just read it was in the way of the 2.8 motor mount
so yes its the knock, however, on my s10 2.8, I removed the knock sensor, and anti-freeze came out, so better safe then sorry, plug it!
