Its fixed!!, who wants to guess?
Alright, I have finally fixed my problem, :woot:
Shuddering while holding peddle steady, rpms bouncing, stalling occasionally at lights. Running rich.
I did..
checked, swapped, replaced every sensor on the engine.
vacuum steady at 18.5
fuel pressure little low, but shimmed to make up for it.
swapped (actually ran smaller injectors) injectors.
all fluids fine.
replaced alternator (was under warranty)
in process, removed smog and egr.
plugs new, wires fine, cap/rotor fine, coil fine
timing at 13deg
fuel filter replaced
NONE of this fixed it, who wants to guess what it was
tip, cost me 6 bux to fix it
drove it almost 100 miles yesterday, no problem, drove to work, didnt die in its ALWAYS spot. :lala:

Oooh I love these! Um...
PCV valve?
Battery cable/ground strap?
(Shoot what else costs $6?)
A can of some kind of fuel cleaner/treatment?
Cracked intake duct?
Muffler bearing? Changed the air in the tires? Bottle of blinker fluid?

orielys had one too. Plus I had about 3 from my 3.4 swap in the s10, but they were side post, and I've converted to top.

Sorry eric, when it was running rich, yes, it would spin a tire. I put smaller injectors in it while finding my issue(s). I plan on doing some port work to my other intake, then install it along with the proper 17lb'ers.
Much smoother idle
noticable more power(should have more with proper injectors)
not sure on mpg yet as I have been working on issues, etc.
no more knocking, hell, half the time I have look at tack to see if its running

Boogie on down the Road!
How does the torque feel?
For all considering this 2.8->3.4 Long Block Swap Boogie, enjoy, it is a win-win situation.
Yeah wait until ya install the larger injectors.
I wouldn't hold at high RPMS until ya do install the proper sized 3.4 injectors.

torque is noticeable, but still not what it was on the s10. I'm waiting on some exhaust work this summer
My car hardly goes over 4500rpm, very little over 4000. Just a around town, stoplight to stoplight car. I know the trans is slipping, so I dont hammer the peddle.
Going to work on new intake, then install injectors.
I currently have some other projects first. Ked knows what I'm talking about.

One thing I have noticed, as perhaps yourself, Dale.
The S-Series "Y" Pipe is a Hi FLo DREAM COMPARED TO THE LOUSY F BODY "T" PIPE!
Open your hood, look down at passenger side "Y" exhaust pipe junction & you'll see what I mean.
THANKFULLY Pace Setter Exhaust is including a fresh Hi Flo "Y" Pipe with the 3rd Gen V6 Street Legal Headers, coming soon to your car.

Project, you really want me to? j/k.
I have done TONS of work to this motor since I got it from you. Head gaskets were about to blow, 3+ cups of mud in coolent system, intake loose, CSI leaking, bad timing chain, head job, polishing air passages and combustion chamber, all new gaskets.
S10 had headers on it, I'm hoping thats my "lack of power" that I'm use to having in these 6/60 mills.

this sounds like (for 6$ anayway) somthing that should be replaced with a full tuneup. (i smell an amendment to my tuneup list.

with it running, start shaking the cables. To even make situation worse, turn on headlights, radio, fans, anything that draws power.
Mine was because the wire would lay forward while hitting brakes. Causing bad connection inside. If your just sitting still, then it dies. IMO its something else. But like tony said, for 6 bux, its worth it just to get it off the list.

Damn, and I thought I was reaching into left field on that one!
Man, that sorta sucks... you've been chasing that for a while, checking out every system, and it was just a batt cable. At least you're good for a while!
Anyone ever try to get original GM batt cables from the dealer? I think my positive cable is a little fluky (had random power fails a few years ago- I could tell b/c the stereo would die, too)... but I want the side terminal cables with the red and black rubber covers over the terminals. Went to gm dealer and he told me that he couldn't get an actual part # for my car. He said I'd have to measure the length of the cable so he could order one- and my positive cable is like 6 feet long!
