The stroker kit is made for the RWD 2.8 engine.. What about the heads?

Cause on the box theres a wire that you have to cut to tell it if its for a L4/V6/V8... It might be the same Im not sure..

you may not want to mess with it but I am needing the vac lines for a 2.8. I'd buy the coil if you think it is good. also what about the egr solenoid? If the plug wires are good I might take them too. I am cheap and don't want to dump a lot of money into this car if I can help it. the $200 I have in it is almost to much.

The stroker kit is a 3.1 crank, connecting rods, .040 over pistons, rings, cam bearings and crank bearings. Also if you have the 700R4 theres a nuetrally ballanced flywheel that comes with it. Its all new and remanufactured parts. Never been used.

Is that what that kit cost? WOW
I am debating buyin a new engine. For $850 shipped you can get a reman 2.8 3.1 or 3.4 with all new internal parts, valve covers to pan.
cause ya would be dumb to just slap the 3.1 kit in and not freshign the rest up and with labor, your well over $1000, the fun of doing the vavles will make ya think twice. might as well just buy a new 3.1 or 3.4 ready to go.

Well this kit isnt meant for a stock rebuild.. Thats why the pistons are .040 over, and why its a STROKER KIT for the 2.8. If I wanted someone else to build the engine for me I woulda bought the whole thing like you plan to, but I wanted to do it myself seeing as how I hadnt before and thought it would be a good learning expeirance.

Looking for a 2.8 upper plenum and throttle body...
Or, how much damage would the gasket matched intake kill me?

If you can hold onto the gasket matched set, I can probably pay next week, but I also have a rear brake job in the works for next week (everythings getting changed from the drums to the hardware) and I am not yet sure of how much I'll have left of my pay after I get the brakes done.
I at least need the upper plenum and TB since my upper plenum seems to be falling apart (yes, it REALLY is.. one of the TB ears is coming off again).
