FWD vs RWD heads (pic)

I was at the machinist the other day picking up my freshly cleaned iron heads and i saw this Gen III head on the ground. Though I'd take a pic for all to see. Thats about it....

I see your hard at work too! lol. I want another 3.1 crank Dale! I want to do the 2.8 pistons on the 3.1 crank with small journal sbc connecting rods. Woot woot!

Yeah the quality of the pics are crappy, that was with one of dem dar olde school cameras, with the stuff we used to call fil-m, then have to take it to a place that would "develope" the pics in this big ma-hine, wait upto 5 days to see what we took a pic of.....

Someone on the boards from around me was parting out a 3.1/t5. I offered to take the t5 off there hands. No word.

Can the rockers from one head be swapped to the other? I have iron heads right now but am workin gon a FWD setup swap, if the rockers can be swapped across ehads I'll buy the 1.6's now.

I got ahold of some rockers off a gen3. No they would not swap over.

Aren't genIII rockers roller's that require a different stud?

The fwd rockers have the studs mfg into them, and a block on the bottom of them. Then if you cut the stud and block off them, they are to wide, as well then the stud DIA is wrong.

why do that? you loose the roller pivot point.
