Battery?????

last night i went on a little joy ride to attempt to drift a little with my camaro because i thought you could not but since i saw blue189rs doing it i said heck let me give it a try.i started to drift a little here and there in a open parking lot to get the feel for it and then i decided enough for tonight and i hit a sharp turn and my car turned off.i trued starting it again to no avail there was a lot of smoke coming out of my hood.my battery had slammed against the metal wall and was making contact with the wall i moved it away and tried to start again it did.what i wanted to know is could this cause any serious damage?????or has it already cause damage to my engine or car without knowing it????

any answer is appreciated

Buy a battery hold down. They're like, five bucks at the local parts shop.

No bunjee cords..... get a GM bolt on battery hold down. Should be in the general auto parts store.

Re: Battery?????

i think im just going to relocate it to the back to make room for the turbo install.i think it would look cleaner with out the battery in the front any how.

Re: Battery?????

Battery in the back is nice and all, but can be a pain if you don't use the right sized cable. I used 4awg and it sucked. Try to use 2awg or 0awg. I have pics on my V6 cardomain of how I did mine if you want to copy.
