Is it really that much trouble to request that you use at least punctuation? It's very very difficult to read things like this.

"Dis is tha intrweb, get usd 2 it, kno ned to use prpr speel, *** u!"
Pathetic, it really is, that people expect you to understand garbled strings of words.

Whats up with all the grammar ****'s in this board. I don't know about most of you, but my normal thread operating hours are between 11pm-1am, after a full 8 hours of work. I'm not really coherent at this time, I'm usually just happy to get my point across. So the guy likes to take shortcuts on his keyboard? So what? I can understand it just fine. Maybe it's your own brain with the problem decyphering strings of text that aren't in English class form.
Think outside of the box, man.
If you really have a problem, go get a degree and teach an English class!
Why can't you all go out into the world and do something useful and track down those guys who spell "CAMARO" as "CAMERO"
I rest my case.

Wow!
I have really missed a lot by being deployed! Keep up the good, err... work! Yeah, that's it!
Anyway, why does daves12secV6 now have a new alias? Did I miss more drama?
See ya!

Re: daves12secV6
heheh good luck with that!
I hope it works the way you want! Just out of curiosity, how many 60 degree V6 engines have you gone through so far? Do you ever rebuild them or just freshen them up and run them mostly stock long block?
Just curious because I never thought that the 60 degree family was as solid as the Buick V6 family. I'd be interested to know what sort of failings are common such as crank, rods, block, etc...
Good luck with the 11's!

Re: daves12secV6
i have only had one mechanical failure and that was a rod, dont know if it spun the bearing forst or if the rod broke first though.
ive been running stock shortblocks though, with the usual arp rod bolts.
no forged pistions or anything.
the one mechanical failure i did have was directly related to a timing issue though.
that was my original 2.8
the next motor was a boneyard motor that ran until the day i ploped this new 3.1 in the car
btw the car just went 13.008@104.65 @ only 9 psi and its still in tunning stages were close but boy shes got a lot left in her,im just itching to crank the boost.
tommorow i plan on atleats some 15 psi runs maybe even as high as 21 psi
