well the clutch is in and i got to take it for a little drive today since the weather warmed up to almost 40*
so far im happy with it, its a little grabby but its not bad at all. it slips just enough to make it streetable. im sure once i get used to it a bit there wont be any complaints from me.
im going to break it in as the company suggests so i didnt really do anything but normal driving but it is holding past where the stock clutch failed so two thumbs up so far
haha yeah i know, if only i had endless amount of money i cant wait to see what the car can do either it sucks ill have to wait a couple more months to really get it out and play. ive been waiting for years to finally have this car the way i wanted it.
im really hoping to have it painted and tuned in time to go to thirdgenfest next year...money permitting lol
nothing new really, its sitting on two flats in the garage. soon as it cools down im going to put the front end back on it and try to get some tires so that i can get it back on the road a little this year.
i bought a new truck so i dont see any real progress happening anytime soon...its a lifelong project ill get back to it eventually. At least the hood is on it
how long you been waitin for it to warm up and now that everyone wants to come to FL to cool off...you gotta wait for it to cool off up there? lol...j/k. keep us posted!
Lol its been 110-116 with heat index up here, it's stupid hot. I started it about a month ago and drove it to other side of garage. That's about as far as it has moved this year.
do u have pics showing how u filled the holes for the spoiler???
im debating eliminating the spoiler off mine, but i dont know yet.
somone had installed a firebird poiler on mine and drilled new holes, so even if i installed the original 3 piece one back on id still have 4 holes to fill
agree with 34blazer. Its the way to do it, or pay someone to do it. I was going to make a few sets to sell this winter but i figured most people didnt want to pay 450 bucks for front facing tube turbo headers....

yup everyone wants them but wont/cant pay for them , the problem with producing them in small numbers is the cost is high , and there arent enough ppl who want them to make mass producing them to get cost low worthwhile
Lol no not dead..just kids and life took over for a while. Im aiming for it to be put back together by spring then ill start preparing it to be started again.
I gotta re download all the tuning software and tunes since I lost that hard drive due to a virus.

the sizing will be under the engine constants when u hookup the laptop, so u will still be able to find out, for some reason 36 or 40# sticks out to me , but so does 50#

the car looks awesome just a lil hotwheel ish with those 5th gen wheels , just my opionion but i think it would look way better with a set of ronals or z06 wheels that arent so big
