car stumbles during first to second shift

This is kinda hard to explain but here goes, Usually after the car has sat for a good 4 to 5 hours i can start the car and it starts fine but when i take off and it shifts from 1st to 2nd it stumbles really bad almost to the point of the engine dieing. Now after that it wont do it untill it sets for a while. Any ideas to whats causing this would be great

Put back in the stck chip & try it again.
I'll bet it's the chip.

I checked all the vaccum lines and put the stock chip back in and it still does it . I was wonderin if the pickup coil might cause that if it was goin bad?

Nah, coil goes bad, you'll know!!
Could be exhaust?
Is it extreme high RPMS the power drop happens?
DID YOU RECENTLY CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER?? OR FUEL LINE HOSES???

Don't laugh.
I think the fuel filter was recently changed.
I'll bet they used the wrong fuel line hose.
Check it out.
Fuel filters last a long time.
Once had a car.
Fuel injected Opel Wagon, 1975 model.
It was a great car!
BUT, one time I changed the fule filter and used wrong hose.
It was collasping at high suction time.
Caused the car to not accelerate.
Ideled great.
Zoomed RPMS great, at rest.
Driving, couldn't get over 30 mph!
Look.
