What plugs do you use??

I was looking at a compatibility chart for plugs and I saw the plugs for AC rapidfires, splitfires, autolites, Champions, BUT the regular ac delcos said N/A. I figured those would have been the factory plugs. I don't think I can justify the money for rapidfires or splitfires. What plugs does everyone like or dislike?? Also would I have to special order a set of 8mm wires? How much wouls=d they cost? I have a 3.1.

I've heard many bad things about Bosch Platinum +4's, and I've read articles that say that all the hype about plugs is just that.....hype. They say that a basically HO stock plug is best for your engine. Personally, I use Rapidfires, and happen to have a spare set in the back of my car I'd be willing to let go of for $20 plus shipping.....They cost me a lil over $4 a piece....and shipping wouldn't be too much if anyone's interested.

I use Bosch Platinum's, I figured +4's were too expensive for plugs

I use Bosch super's with stock coil & wires, and Bosch Platinums with a super coil and larger wires.

Why do people still think that a gimick plug is any better than anything else? Buy whatever YOU like. Truth be told I've used straight delco plugs, rapidfires, and bosch platinums, there's no difference in performance. You'll get more from the placebo effect of buying the plugs you like then the actual performance of any one plug over the other.

That aside I use typical delco plugs or typical Bosch Platinums, anything more expensive is a waste of money.

only reason im running the +4's is because i got them for free. Usually i run splitfires but free is better.

All I use are Autolite plugs & wires & they have always worked great for me. I don't buy into that expensive high dollar crap cause I know that they are all the same.

Stock AC Delco plugs are the best... Rapid Fire next, but otherwise save your money and just put new ones in each year...
