I just ordered BF Goodrich 245/60/15 Radial T/A tires yesterday for my 1984 TA. Jegs had the best price shipped to my door - $778.61. I’m hoping to get the new tires mounted on my stock rims this weekend. I’ll let you know my thoughts and post pics after they’re installed.
235/60r15 is the same overall diameter as the stock 215/65r15. 245’s will be taller, will cause the speedometer to be off and may rub in the front when turned full lock.
I just installed four 245R60X15 BFG Radial T/A on my '84 Trans AM today & they look great. 245R60X15 is 2.3% greater circumference than 215R65X15. Thus no need to change speedo gear.

Finally got the new 245 tires mounted & installed on the car today. Car rides wayyyy better now. Old tires were 11 years old and dry rotted. I think they look good. I’ll try to take some pics soon.
