RPM activated switch for custom shift light

RPM activated switch for custom shift light
anyone know where i can find a RPM activated switch, im wanting to take that upshift light thats in the cluster and turn it into a shift light..... or i may use a small bright LED else where, either way i want a "hidden" shift light

Autometer makes them, just pick the chip range you want and plug it all in!

i havent seen ones that dont allready have a blub and lense on them, im really looking for a module that has output 12V+ to activate a custom or hidden light

Well, if you don't want to use their light behind your lens, then use the MSD rpm activated switch and hook it up to whatever you want.... A bit easier and cheaper to use a ready made light behind a lens, but I guess you can do it anyway you want.....\

hmmm, kinda pricy, but i got an idea, i may take an autometer shift lite apart, and get the wires going to its shift light and cut them run them to my light, and just throw the autometer one under the dash

I have used Summit's older version of that switch for a while now and it works great for for the application that you want it for.
